A Lifetime Commitment

For over forty years, Harlon Pearce has been actively involved in the seafood industry. After graduation from Southeastern Louisiana College, Harlon worked in the seafood industry to pay his way through Loyola Law School. But when his days at Loyola were at an end, he discovered that the business of seafood and not the business of law, was his primary interest. After over two decades as a successful manager and partner in several major local seafood concerns, Harlon opened his own company, Harlon’s LA Fish, in 1993.

Harlon is naturally drawn to outdoor activities and also loves to duck and deer hunt. But the natural bounty of the sea remains his first love. “Seafood is such a thing of beauty. It’s like artistry. When I see a beautiful crab or the brilliant colors of a fish, I reflect on the amazing gifts that Louisiana has to offer to the world.â”
