	The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries has started a wild Tilapia eradication project in areas of Plaquemines Parish. Those in possession of live wild Tilapia could be subject to fines and/or jail time. Link to article Farm raised Tilapia are not subject to this program and are still available every day through Harlon’s LA Fish.



	Harlon’s LA Fish are experts at getting you your seafood as fast and as fresh as possible. All of our products are vacuum packed and shipped in leak proof insulated shipping boxes. All Harlon’s LA Fish products are completely chilled before packaging. There are two delivery options Local truck delivery: We deliver via our fleet of refrigerated trucks to New Orleans, the Northshore and Baton Rouge 6 days a week. The cost of local delivery is included in your product price. In most cases, if you place your order by 8am it will be delivered before Noon on the same day. United Parcel Delivery: Products are shipped in leak proof insulated shipping boxes purpose-built for Louisiana seafood products by United Parcel Service. All seafood is first packaged securely in poly bags and is thoroughly chilled before shipping. Then the box is filled with refrigerated gel packs to maintain the proper temperature during shipping. UPS insures the contents of the package and a signature is not required upon delivery. UPS offers next day service on all seafood deliveries Monday through Friday.
